Magnatec® monolithic membranes are a top choice for builders and architects who demand high-performance and durability. Made from a single, seamless layer of material, these membranes offer several advantages over traditional multi-layer systems.

One of the key benefits of Magnatec monolithic membranes is their resistance to water and other forms of moisture. Thanks to the absence of seams and joints, there is no risk of water penetrating the membrane and causing damage to the underlying structure. This makes them ideal for areas with heavy rainfall or other moisture-related risks.

Another advantage of Magnatec monolithic membranes is their exceptional strength and durability. The absence of weak points or areas of vulnerability means that they can withstand even the harshest weather conditions, including high winds and heavy snowfall. This makes them a reliable and long-lasting choice for roofing projects of all sizes and types.

Magnatec offers a range of monolithic roofing membranes that are highly customizable to suit different project requirements. They are available in a variety of materials (see our product range here), or can also be tailored to meet specific color, branding or thickness specifications. Additionally, special coatings, adhesives, and other features can be added to the membrane to enhance its performance and durability.

Monolithic Series | Technical Data

Magnatec® membranes can breathe thanks to absorption, diffusion and desorption model. The water vapour molecules are absorbed by the amorphous, more polar soft-block phase and therefore no physical perforation in the structure is needed. Once the absorption of water vapour molecules is achieved, the diffusion through the film takes place and finally desorption from the film surface occurs.
